It’s not hard to fall in love with most of the homes that I have the opportunity to stage, after all, being a San Francisco-based home stager means we are literally dealing with 1 million dollar+ homes. But also, I’m a sucker for interiors, even when they lack charm or character, they somehow find a way to sneak into my heart, often times for what they may be missing, and how I might help play a role with my staging expertise to rescue them from their demise of not getting sold because of those shortcomings. I admit, the competitor in me has been known to fall in love simply for the challenge of the thing.

But very seldom do I stage a home that I absolutely melt over, one that I could imagine my own family sharing and enjoying. I scrolled through the gallery of photos from this past year’s staging projects, and came across the one house this year that really tugged at my heart. I must admit that I fell pretty hard when I first toured this lovely, custom built 1935 Merced Manor home, full of amazing period details and beautiful molding to die for!

When you see the rest of the photos, you’ll see why. I guarantee there will be some oohing, ahhing and maybe even a little heart melting of your own. Enjoy and Have a great Friday!
