We sold one of our staging couches this past weekend on my favorite online world, Craigslist, and it only confirmed how small this San Francisco place I call home is. The buyers, a young Asian couple, live in the Richmond District where I grew up and currently live. That was an interesting “coincidence” and then it turned out that the husband, not only went to my middle school, but graduated a year after me at Lowell High School. We mused over similar friends and people we knew from 20+ years ago(!).

I am continually amazed at the connectedness I feel to San Francisco, and part of the reason why I still choose to call it my home. It happened again last week, with a home we staged for sale on 11th Avenue, a rare Inner Richmond beauty that has been in the same family for over 50+ years.

After meeting the owners, a daughter & son duo, to discuss staging this 4 bedroom + sunroom Edwardian, built in 1915, we discovered that their cousins are my childhood friends, that we had gone to middle school together & played in the same basketball league throughout high school!  It is at these moments that I marvel at how small a world San Francisco is and part of the reason I love it so much!
